Royal Caribbean International has extended it suspension of cruising until June 2021, apart from sailings onboard Quantum, Spectrum, Voyager, and Odyssey of the Seas.
Like many other major cruise lines, the company has now suspended operations through May. “Our plan is to resume further operation in June; however, the following circumstances have extended the suspension,” said the company.
There are some good news, though. Quantum of the Seas will remain in the Asia-Pacific region, with short cruises from Singapore in lieu of her Alaska program.
Sailings planned for Odyssey of the Seas form May 9 to October 28, departing from Civitavecchia, Italy, have all been cancelled, but as we have previously published, the ship will set sail this summer out of a new homeport, Haifa, Israel, with 3 to 7-day sailings available for residents of Israel only.
The Spectrum of the Seas will be able to sail in China or elsewhere in Asia, while the Voyager of the Seas is also in Asia and ready for action on short notice.
