APEX (Airline Passenger Experience Association), the first airline review program based on passenger feedback, has just announced the results of its 2022 Passenger Choice Awards, determined by the votes of 1.2 million passengers at an event held in Dublin.
During the ceremony, Turkish Airlines added two awards to its name, Best Food & Beverage in Europe and Best Seat Comfort in Europe, the only European carrier to win a double.
Passengers rated over a million flights operated by nearly 600 airlines worldwide, voting on categories such as seat comfort, cabin service, food and beverage, entertainment, and Wi-Fi.
Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat, commented on the double win: “We are constantly working to provide service beyond our passengers’ expectations in a sector where the rules are set in stone. We see travel as a concept beyond just transportation and consider the journey as an enjoyable and comfortable experience above the clouds.
