Wizz Air launches 2nd daily flight TLV-London

The new route by Hungarian low-cost carrier, landing at Gatwick Airport, London, joins Wizz Air’s current daily flight to Luton Airport, starting March 27, 2022

Britain might be on the red list in Israel, but that doesn’t stop Wizz Air from launching another direct daily route from TLV to London.

The new route by Hungarian low-cost carrier will land at Gatwick Airport, London, adding to Wizz Air’s existing daily flight to Luton Airport, starting March 27, 2022.

According to Paulina Gusk, Communications Manager, Wizz Air, “We are excited to announce today the expansion of our network by adding the additional line from Tel Aviv to one of the most classic and popular destinations in the world. Travelers with Wizz Air can be sure they are traveling with a leading company offering advanced safety and health measures.”

Wizz Air emphasizes that passengers can add the Wizz Flex service to their tickets, so they can easily change their destination and flight dates, regardless of the circumstances. “The service provides additional protection for customers’ flight tickets, especially at these unexpected times,” according to the announcement.

Tickets can already be purchased on the Wizair website and the Wizz app.

Since the onset of the pandemic in March 2020, Wizz Air has set up 18 new bases of operation, added 300 routes to its existing network, and is now increasing its workforce.

The company is preparing to triple its fleet and reach 500 Airbus aircraft over the next decade, offering thousands more jobs to meet its growth plans and expand its network  –  already numbering more than a thousand routes to 197 destinations in 49 countries. So it is safe to say that Wizz Air has surpassed the volume of its pre-Corona activity.
