United Airlines launches a new daily flight between Bangkok and San Francisco, with a stopover in Hong Kong.

The flights will operate year-round, departing Bangkok at 4:55 p.m. and landing in Hong Kong at 8:45 p.m. Passengers will be able to easily connect to United flights to San Francisco and Los Angeles, as well as dozens of other destinations across the American continent.

With the opening of the new route, United Airlines becomes the only American airline operating direct flights from Bangkok, a move that strengthens its position in the region.

By the end of 2025, the company will operate flights from 32 cities across the Pacific Ocean, four times as many destinations as any other American airline.

The new service from Bangkok joins another expansion of United's route network in Asia, including a new route between Ho Chi Minh City and Hong Kong and an additional daily flight on the Manila-San Francisco route, with the aim of offering passengers greater flexibility in planning their trips.
