Plane crash in Kenya: All 12 passengers apparently perished.

The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) confirmed on Tuesday (October 28) that an aircraft registered under 5Y-CCA crashed in the Kawala area, en route from Diani to Kichwa Tembo.

According to the official announcement, the small plane crash incident occurred with 12 passengers on board. Government agencies arrived at the crash scene and began investigating the accident and its consequences.

“Government investigators have already begun examining the circumstances of the incident in order to determine the cause and effect,” said a statement signed by the Authority’s Director General, Emile N. Arao.

The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority is responsible for the supervision and control of flight safety, the regulation of civil aviation services, and the training of aviation personnel in accordance with ICAO international standards.
