Vietnam: Severe Weather and Heavy Rains Due to Tropical Storm Fengshen.

Heavy rains and flooding continue to impact central Vietnam due to Tropical Storm Fengshen. According to local authorities, heavy to very heavy rains are expected to last until at least tomorrow, with ongoing risks of flooding, flash floods, and mudslides in mountainous areas.

Police forces and local authorities are working to assist residents and tourists in the affected regions.

The U.S. Embassy in Vietnam urges American citizens registered in the country to sign up for the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program on step.state.gov to receive regular updates from the embassy and local consulates, and to ensure the Department of State can quickly reach them in case of an emergency.
