The largest exhibition in WTM history marked record numbers.
WTM London 2025 ended last weekend with an all-time record number of 5,500 buyers. This marks an 8% increase compared to last year. The number of exhibitors also increased by 5%, with the Travel Technology area recording growth of over 55%. The event gathered 46,500 visitors from 182 countries.
The annual event, which took place at the Excel Halls in London between November 4 and 6, spread across an area 25% larger than last year, becoming the largest exhibition in WTM history.
The event saw over 40,000 pre-arranged business meetings, a 30% increase compared to 2024, which are expected to generate deals worth a total of more than £2.2 billion.
At the WTM Ministerial Summit, held for the 19th year in collaboration with UN Tourism and WTTC, country representatives and industry leaders discussed ways to accelerate investments in tourism and professional education.

Representatives from the Philippines, Kenya, Ecuador and Lebanon presented public-private financing models including tax incentives, free trade zones and airport infrastructure investments as a basis for sustainable growth. In addition, the issue of a skilled workforce shortage was raised, and tourism ministers called for updating curricula to reflect the needs of the industry and encourage the development of digital skills and targeted training.
A significant innovation this year was WTM TrendFest, a new complex dedicated to innovative trends in experiential tourism that attracted thousands of visitors and featured culinary and dance performances from around the world. It also unveiled smart technologies aimed at enhancing the traveler experience.
