beOnd makes history. The world’s first premium leisure airline has launched the first direct flights between Europe and Red Sea International Airport (RSI), operated by daa International.

Milan is the first European city to enjoy non-stop service to both The Red Sea and AMAALA, giving travellers direct access to two of the world’s most remarkable new destinations, combined with beOnd’s signature premium experience and RSI’s cutting-edge design that blends luxury with respect for the natural surroundings.

“We’re proud to be the first airline connecting Milan directly to the Red Sea destinations,” said Tero Taskila, CEO and Chairman of beOnd. “This route brings together three exceptional destinations: Milan, a global capital of design and culture, and The Red Sea and AMAALA – two of the world’s most pristine and geographically-diverse coastlines. We’re excited to offer travellers a new and more elevated way to experience each.”

John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global, added, “The launch of this direct route from Milan marks a defining moment for Red Sea Global and our destinations. It not only strengthens our connection with Europe, but also reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering extraordinary experiences that harmonize luxury and sustainability.”

Andrew Tyler-Smith, CEO of Red Sea International Airport, said, “We are thrilled to welcome beOnd as the first airline offering direct service from Europe to The Red Sea and AMAALA. As we expand RSI’s growing network, we are honored to have strategic airline partners such as beOnd be part of our journey in welcoming travellers from across the globe.”

beOnd will operate the new route twice weekly starting November 12, 2025, using A320-family aircraft with all lie-flat seats. Taskila thanked aviation authorities in Saudi Arabia and Italy for supporting the launch, including the General Authority of Civil Aviation, SEA Milan Airports, and the Saudi Tourism Authority.

The Red Sea destination now offers nine luxury hotels, the Thuwal Private Retreat, and the upcoming AMAALA Triple Bay, featuring five new resorts, a yacht club, marina, and marine life institute. Onboard, beOnd promises a premium experience with lie-flat seating, chef-curated meals, and personalized amenity kits by Avant.

The Milan–Red Sea route is just the start of beOnd’s plans, with more destinations set to follow as demand for luxury leisure travel continues to grow.
