Wizz Air unveils its 250th aircraft, marking a significant milestone for the company.

This moment marks the halfway point toward its goal of a fleet of 500 aircraft, reflecting the continued growth momentum of one of Europe's fastest-growing airlines.

The event featured the winning design from an international competition initiated by the company, involving designers, passengers, and employees from around the world.

The chosen design, according to the company, reflects its spirit and emphasizes creativity, community, and innovative energy.

The fleet currently includes 250 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, and it continues to expand its operations in the European market.

In 2025, it carried 63.4 million passengers and continues to gain international recognition for its environmental ratings and operational efficiency.

CEO of Wizz Air, József Váradi: "The 250th aircraft is far more than just adding another aircraft to our fleet, it is a defining moment in Wizz Air’s history. This milestone reflects over two decades of bold decisions, relentless innovation and the passion of thousands of colleagues and partners who share the same vision and believe in making air travel more affordable and accessible for all. It proves that our strategy is working, and our momentum now is stronger than ever. We remain dedicated to doubling our fleet in the decade ahead and providing ever more low fare flights to our customers. 250 is not just a number, it is a symbol of our ambition and a launchpad for the next chapter of our journey. Together, we will keep expanding, innovating and making air travel even more accessible for millions. The future is ours to shape."
