Starting next year: Heathrow raises drop-off fee, adds 10-minute stay limit.

From January 1, 2026 onward, the entrance fee to the passenger drop-off areas adjacent to the terminals at Heathrow Airport in London will go up.

The fare will increase from £6 to £7 per entry, and a time limit of up to 10 minutes will also apply to staying in the drop-off areas.

Heathrow emphasizes that disabled badge holders will be fully exempt from the fee and time limit. Free drop-off options will also continue to operate at the airport's Park & Ride car parks.

According to the airport management, payments will be collected exclusively online or by phone, with no payment machines available inside the terminal. Drivers will need to settle the payment by midnight the day after the visit. In addition, any unmanned vehicle at the time of unloading will be evacuated by the police. Additional entry into the unloading areas will be charged again.
