France and the UK further expand aviation ties. Air France is expanding its medium-haul network to the UK, where it currently operates up to 300 weekly flights to six different destinations. Now, the company is announcing two significant moves for the new year.
Starting March 29, 2026, Air France will operate two daily flights between Paris Charles de Gaulle and London Gatwick. The flights will be operated on Airbus A220 aircraft and will offer improved connections to destinations on the airline's international network via its hub in Paris.
Flight schedule
Departures from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Gatwick will be at 9:20 (arrival at 9:30) and 15:45 (arrival at 15:55). Departures from Gatwick to Paris Charles de Gaulle will be at 10:30 (arrival at 12:40) and 17:10 (arrival at 19:20). The operation of the service is subject to the receipt of the necessary approvals.
Gatwick, London's second largest airport, offers quick access to the city centre and convenient connectivity to the south of England. The new route joins Air France's existing service to London Heathrow, which the company operates six times a day.
In addition, in February 2026, the company will operate special flights between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Cardiff, Wales, in anticipation of the upcoming Six Nations Rugby Championship.
