An unusual incident occurred at Edinburgh Airport in Scotland. Details are not yet clear.

According to the airport's announcement, due to an IT fault identified at the airport's air traffic control provider at noon today (December 5, 2025), all flights departing and arriving at Edinburgh Airport were halted.

The airport reassured the public that their teams were already "working on the issue and will resolve it as soon as possible", while asking passengers to contact the airlines to check the status of their flights. "We will provide updates when possible," they said.

Further details will be published later.
