No slowdown in sight. Low-cost giant Wizz Air has announced it will further strengthen its presence in Romania by adding two important cities to its network.
The first to join the airline's route network is Oradea, 160 km from Cluj-Napoca. The city will offer direct links to three new destinations: Milan Bergamo starting March 31, 2026, and Rome Fiumicino and Dortmund starting June 28, 2026.

The company plans to open nine new routes to London Luton, Paris Beauvais, Brussels Charleroi, Milan Bergamo, Rome Fiumicino, Basel, Dortmund, Memmingen, and Larnaca. According to the company, the new routes will bring with them additional options, greater flexibility and trips at more affordable prices for business people, family reunions and weekend getaways.
As we announced last week, the company is also planning to expand its operations at London-Luton, one of its main bases, and launch six new routes, four to destinations in Greece and two more in Europe. In total, in the coming year, Wizz Air will fly from London-Luton to a whopping 60 different destinations.
