In exactly one week, on December 18, 2025, American airline JetBlue will open BlueHouse, its first lounge at New York's JFK Airport. The move is part of "JetForward," the company's plan of expanding its premium experience and adding upgraded ground services for passengers.

The lounge, spread over two floors in Terminal 5, is designed in a distinctive way, unlike the familiar lounges inspired by New York's Art Deco apartments, combining local artwork and references to the company's history. The space includes work and quiet areas, fast Wi-Fi, charging stations, a games area, and seating areas designed for pre-flight preparation.

In collaboration with local brands, the venue will serve dishes inspired by New York cuisine, alongside drinks from well-known cafes, breweries, and entertainment venues in the city. Barista services and beverages from select brands will also be an option.

Lounge access will be free for Mosaic 4 members, JetBlue Premier Cardholders, and Mint passengers on transatlantic flights. Beginning in February 2026, one-time access will also be offered to lower-tier Mosaic members and other loyalty cardholders.

The opening of BlueHouse is part of a broader upgrade to Terminal 5, which will include new shops and services to enhance the passenger experience. Another BlueHouse lounge is expected to open at Boston's Logan Airport in 2026.
