Norwegian Cruise Line Appoints New President with Three-Decade Track Record

A travel industry executive with more than 30 years of experience, former CEO of Avoya Travel and President of FROSCH, joins NCL in the midst of a business boom; Marc Kazlauskas will oversee high demand, new ships, and significant investments in guest experience and upgrades to the private island of Great Stirrup Cay

Norwegian Cruise Line appoints Marc Kazlauskas as president.

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings today announced the appointment of travel industry executive Marc Kazlauskas as president of Norwegian Cruise Line (hereinafter: Norwegian), effective January 19, 2026. Kazlauskas brings more than 30 years of experience in senior leadership roles across sales, operations, and innovation in the global travel industry.

Most recently, he served as CEO of Avoya Travel, one of the largest travel companies in the United States and a leading travel platform. Prior to that, he served as President of FROSCH and CEO of Chase Travel Group (a JPMorgan Chase company), one of the world's largest travel companies, with sales of over $11 billion and a global reach. In his roles, he led large teams, managed multi-billion-dollar business operations, and oversaw strategic partnerships with airlines, tour operators, and cruise lines.

He is known for his ability to drive commercial performance, improve customer experience, and lead organizational renewal processes, capabilities that align perfectly with Norwegian's focus on goals such as accurate pricing, operational efficiency, and upgrading the guest experience.

Prior to his roles at Avoya and FROSCH/Chase Travel Group, Kazlauskas held executive positions at Insight Vacations, where he led the company's U.S. operations and achieved hundreds of percent growth in revenue and profit. He also held leadership roles at Tauck World Discovery, where he led global sales. He began his career in the cruise industry with Orient Cruise Line, formerly part of the Norwegian Cruise Line Group. He also served on the board of directors of Signature Travel Network and on advisory boards of leading global airlines and travel companies.
