KLM becomes one of the first European airlines to offer free Wi-Fi on domestic flights, starting January 22, 2026.
Passengers will be able to send emails, browse the Internet, listen to music, play games or watch movies and TV series during the flight, at no additional cost.
The service will be gradually launched on most of the company's European fleet.
Starting today, half of the airline's European fleet will be equipped with free internet, with the service also reaching all A321neo, Embraer 195-E2, and some B737-800 aircraft in the coming years.
Additionally, since the airline's European flights do not feature personal entertainment screens, the service allows passengers a more personalized and convenient experience. After logging in or registering as a Flying Blue member, you can enjoy unlimited internet access throughout the flight.
Stephanie Putzeist, VP of Customer Experience at KLM, said: “We listen carefully to what our passengers value and free internet has been on their wish list for some time. Through this step, we are making travel within Europe more personal and comfortable: everyone can plan their flight in their own way and stay connected."
Since last August, 12 new A321neo aircraft have joined the company's fleet, designed for European flights only and equipped with modern, comfortable seats, to ensure the most pleasant flight experience for passengers.
