The Spanish airline Air Europa ended 2025 with significant growth in its international operations, following the expansion of its partnerships with additional airlines.

According to its announcement, the company currently offers its customers over 400 routes to destinations around the world, through integrated tickets and codeshare agreements.

Over the past year, Air Europa renewed its agreement with Avianca, and concluded new agreements with China's Hainan Airlines, Smartwings, and SAS.

Expanding Connections to Asia

The collaborations with SAS and Smartwings have particularly strengthened the company's presence in northern and central Europe, including through the airports in Copenhagen and Prague. At the same time, the agreement with Hainan Airlines expands Air Europa's presence in the Chinese market and currently sees it cooperate with 11 Chinese airlines, as part of a broader trend to strengthen connectivity between Asia and America.

In total, Air Europa currently holds almost 100 agreements with various airlines, allowing it to operate 168 routes under a codeshare agreement, with around half of them connecting Europe and the Americas. This move increases traffic to the company's core destinations, particularly on long-haul flights.

The agreements provide passengers with a more seamless and convenient travel experience, including, among other things, delivering luggage directly to the final destination, access to VIP lounges for business-class passengers at various airports, and issuing boarding passes for the final destination via the Air Europa website.
