French flag carrier Air France continues to enhance its premium flight experience. Starting this month, signature chef dishes by Frederic Simonin will be served on all flights departing from the United States and Canada.
Since 2023, the Michelin-starred chef and holder of the title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France has been responsible for creating the menus in Air France's Premium Class.
Passengers can choose between two hot dishes, which are updated regularly and also include a vegetarian option. So far, the dishes have been served on flights departing from several destinations in France and elsewhere, and, as mentioned, all flights from North America are now joining the celebration.

The dishes were developed in close collaboration with Servair, one of the world's leading in-flight catering companies. Simonin uses fresh and seasonal products, in line with Air France's sustainability policy. Among the dishes served are small clams in tapioca pearl sauce with asparagus pasta, as well as baked pasta with porcini mushrooms and hazelnuts.

Depending on the flight duration, a glass of champagne is served shortly after takeoff, followed by a full meal that includes appetizers, a first course, two hot courses, cheeses, and dessert. Meals are served on environmentally friendly utensils with stainless steel cutlery and glassware.

In addition, a wide selection of hot and cold drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, is offered, alongside French wines and beers selected by Air France's head sommelier, Xavier Thuizat. On particularly long day flights from Paris, boutique ice cream from the South of France is also served between meals.
Frederik Simonin: “For Air France customers, I have carefully selected products to enhance them with delicacy and precision, offering each passenger a special culinary experience”, said Frédéric Simonin."
