The Airports Council International (ACI) has published the list of winners for 2025 in the ASQ Customer Experience Awards, which are considered among the world's leading indicators of passenger experience at airports.
The ranking is based on real-time passenger satisfaction surveys conducted during departure and arrival processes at over 400 airports across approximately 110 countries. Over 50 points are examined along the passenger journey, ranging from check-in and security screening to duty-free areas and boarding.
Best Airports at Arrivals: Global Excellence
The airports that led the ranking in the most important category this year were Bahrain International Airport, Clark Airport in the Philippines, and no less than four airports in India, including Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport Lucknow, Kempegowda International AirPort, Bengaluru (Bangalore), Mangaluru International Airport (Mangaluru), and Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (Hyderabad).

North America: Outstanding Giant Ants
In the small airport categories (up to 5 million passengers and up to 15 million), Portland, Indianapolis, and Ontario airports in Canada stood out, among others. LaGuardia and Salt Lake City, each counting between 25 and 40 million passengers per year, were also on top.

Europe: Rome, Madrid, and Zurich at the Top
Among large airports in Europe, Fiumicino in Rome, Barajas in Madrid, and Zurich Airport were mentioned, while Copenhagen and Vienna Airport stood out in the medium-sized category.

Easiest airport journey: Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport (Izmir, Turkey)
Asia-Pacific: China, India, and Korea Leading
Beijing Daxing International Airport in Beijing, China, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai, India, Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, India, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport in Guangzhou, China, and Incheon International Airport in Korea are the top five leading airports with over 40 million passengers in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Middle East: Oman and Saudi Arabia star
In the Middle East, airports in Oman and western Saudi Arabia had a significant presence. Notable winners included Muscat and Salalah airports in Oman.
Among small airports in the Middle East, Abdel Aziz Airport (Tabuk Airport) stood out.

ACI notes that airports were ranked by size and activity volume. Unlike rankings based on open online voting, this is a systematic, uniform measurement carried out on the ground and in real time.
