The Lufthansa Group ended 2025 with strong financial results and the highest revenue in its history. Group revenue rose by around 5% to €39.6 billion, while adjusted operating profit increased by around 20% to €2 billion.
During the year, the group's companies carried approximately 135 million passengers, an increase of approximately 3% compared to the previous year. Seat occupancy reached a record 83.2%. The group's airlines recorded a combined operating profit of €1.1 billion, with ITA Airways contributing approximately €90 million to the results.

The flagship brand Lufthansa Airlines showed a significant improvement in results and increased profit by approximately €250 million compared to the previous year, as part of the Turnaround efficiency program being implemented by the company.

Towards 2026, the group expects continued growth in revenue and profitability, with a capacity expansion of approximately 4% in the aircraft fleet and continued fleet renewal. However, the company warns that the situation in the Middle East and its implications for the global economy create uncertainty in the forecasts.
