Lufthansa notes that stabilizing flight activity significantly reduced operational disruption costs by approximately €362 million less compared to 2024. In addition, revenue from ancillary services grew by 15%, thanks in part to the premium product, the Allegris class.

The flagship brand Lufthansa Airlines showed a significant improvement in results and increased profit by approximately €250 million compared to the previous year, as part of the Turnaround efficiency program being implemented by the company.

The Lufthansa Cargo division also showed strong performance with an operating profit of €324 million, an increase of around 30% compared to 2024. At the same time, Lufthansa Technik signed new maintenance contracts worth €8.8 billion.

Towards 2026, the group expects continued growth in revenue and profitability, with a capacity expansion of approximately 4% in the aircraft fleet and continued fleet renewal. However, the company warns that the situation in the Middle East and its implications for the global economy create uncertainty in the forecasts.
