Greek airline Aegean has published its financial and operational results for 2025, indicating continued operational growth. The company recorded a net profit of €147.8 million, an increase of 14% compared to 2024.

The group's revenues amounted to €1.86 billion, an increase of 5% compared to the previous year. The increase is due, among other things, to the expansion of the network of scheduled flights and to demand, which also strengthened during the winter months.

During the year, the company carried 17.3 million passengers, almost a million more than in the previous year. The group provided approximately 21 million seats, a 6% increase in total capacity across its domestic and international network. The average load factor was 82.5%.

Pre-tax profit amounted to €192.1 million, an increase of 17% compared to 2024.

The company notes that the results were achieved despite additional costs resulting from European regulations regarding emissions and the use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). On the other hand, the company benefited from falling fuel prices and the strengthening of the euro against the dollar.

Aegean continued to increase capacity in the winter season in the fourth quarter. The number of seats increased by 10%, and the number of passengers increased by 9%. Revenues for the quarter increased by 7% to €425.6 million.

At the end of the year, the group operated a larger fleet and continued to expand the network, while attempting to reduce seasonal demand by increasing activity even in the weaker months of the year.
