Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, will resume direct flights to Israel as early as next week.

Etihad was one of the last airlines to suspend operations during times of crisis, and will now become one of the first to resume operations at Ben Gurion Airport. This has been consistently demonstrated from the beginning of the war on October 7 until today.

The airline will restart its Tel Aviv-Abu Dhabi route on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, with two daily flights. Departures from Tel Aviv are scheduled for 14:40 (EY594) and 19:50 (EY598), landing in Abu Dhabi at 19:15 and 00:25, respectively.

All flights will be operated with the recently added Airbus A321LR, featuring a three-class configuration: Economy, Business, and First Class, including 14 lie-flat Business Class seats and two seats in First Class.

To mark the resumption of service, Etihad is offering special fares to the Far East: Bangkok from $1,250 and Tokyo from $1,648.

Ran Pollak, Etihad Airways Manager at Maman Aviation: “We welcome the resumption of regular operations on the Tel Aviv-Abu Dhabi route. Etihad was among the last carriers to suspend flights to Israel, and now it is also among the first to return to full service, reflecting our deep commitment to the Israeli market and local travelers.”

Before the war, Etihad had planned to expand the Abu Dhabi-Tel Aviv route up to six flights daily, which would have made Israel its most active global route. Unfortunately, the war changed those plans for now.
