Photo: Changi Airport Singapore's Changi Airport is on track to become even more luxurious than it already is. The award-winning airport announced on April 15, 2026, that it has begun development of a new flight and lifestyle complex.
The project, led by Changi Airport Group, is expected to open in mid-2027 and offer an upgraded service experience for premium passengers alongside a complex open to the general public.
At the center of the project, a new private terminal will be built in partnership with Plaza Premium Group. The terminal will offer a personalized service experience, from arrival at the airport to boarding the plane, with easy passage to the boarding gates and convenient access to the commercial areas.
Photo: Changi AirportThe complex will include a luxurious lounge, bar, private suites and customized catering services. In addition, a luxurious event space will be established for groups and private events, with an emphasis on privacy and meticulous design.
At the same time, the nearby Hub & Spoke complex will be expanded, featuring a variety of new restaurants, wellness facilities and animal-friendly services. Among other things, the first indoor amphitheater of its kind at an airport will be built there, alongside an open plaza for events of various sizes.
The location adjacent to Terminal 2 and the future Hotel Indigo Changi Airport is expected to transform the area into a combined hub for aviation, leisure and well-being.
