Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has announced a significant milestone in the construction of its new ship, Norwegian Aura, after it first set sail at Fincantieri’s shipyard in Italy. It should be noted that just last month, the company’s new ship, NCL Luna, entered service.
This is a key stage in the construction of Aura, following the completion of the ship's hull, with interior design work expected to continue until the planned launch in spring 2027.

The new ship joins the company's Prima series, and will be the largest in the fleet, with a length of approximately 1,130 feet (about 344 meters) and a weight of approximately 170,000 tons.

Among the main innovations are an open activity complex called Ocean Heights, which includes water facilities and attractions, a pool deck expanded by approximately 20% compared to previous ships, and designated areas for families and adults only.
In addition, the ship will offer diverse entertainment areas for children, teenagers and adults, alongside expanded outdoor areas and social spaces.
