United Airlines told PassportNews that United Flight 2408 from Denver to Washington Dulles was evacuated before takeoff due to a security concern. According to online reports, there was a suspected bomb on board.

The airline disembarked passengers via the external stairs and returned them to the terminal, where they were provided with food and drinks while waiting.

After security checks were carried out on the plane, it was cleared to continue operations. The flight finally took off at 23:33 local time.

There were no injuries in the incident. The plane was an Airbus A321, with about 200 passengers and 7 crew members on board.

The incident follows a similar one that occurred two days ago, in which a United Airlines flight to New York was diverted due to a bomb threat. In that incident, the plane landed at Pittsburgh International Airport, where all passengers and crew were evacuated unharmed. According to the FBI, a threat report was received during the flight, and the plane was diverted for an immediate landing.
