Low-cost carrier Wizz Air continues to expand. The Hungarian airline announced yesterday (April 23, 2026) two new routes from Larnaca to Athens, the capital of Greece, and from Larnaca to Madrid, the capital of Spain.

The new lines between Larnaca and Athens and Madrid will both open in September 2026. The Athens service will operate daily, offering 11 flights per week (up to 14 weekly services), and the line to Madrid will be available three times a week (Tiesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays).
