Low-cost Emirati carrier established in 2019, Air Arabia, has announced a new direct route between Abu Dhabi and Amman City Airport (ADJ) in Jordan, starting May 1, 2026.
The new service will operate three times a week, on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, connecting Zayed International Airport with Amman City Airport. Abu Dhabi's first low-cost airline says the route will give travellers more choice and more affordable options when flying between the UAE and Jordan.
This addition also marks the second airport Air Arabia Abu Dhabi serves in Jordan’s capital. The airline already operates flights to Queen Alia International Airport, and the new service strengthens its presence in the country’s aviation market.

The airline also highlighted that the new route fits into its wider regional network, which already includes additional connections between the UAE and Jordan, including services from Sharjah.
