Against the backdrop of the security escalation and war with Iran, airports across the Middle East are reporting suspensions of operations, closures of airspace, and widespread flight cancellations.
Countries in the region are taking precautionary measures, and international airlines are changing flight routes or canceling flights until further notice. Aviation officials emphasize that these are decisions that are updated in real time, in accordance with the guidelines of the aviation and security authorities in each country.

Sunday, March 1:
Bahrain International Airport announced that flight traffic has been temporarily suspended due to the closure of the airspace of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The airport management called on passengers to stay informed only through the official channels of the airport and the relevant airlines to receive reliable, up-to-date information. This is after just this morning, a drone hit the airport in Bahrain.
At the same time, other airports in the region are reporting significant disruptions and temporary closures of airspace.
On February 28, the Dubai Airports Authority announced that all flights at Dubai International Airport DXB and Dubai World Central Al Maktoum Airport DWC have been suspended until further notice. Passengers are asked not to travel to airports at this time and to contact their airlines directly for current updates on their flights. On Saturday evening, an incident at DBX airport caused damage to one of the terminals and is suspected to be the fall of a missile or interceptor fragments, resulting in the injury of four crew members.
Passengers were also asked to check their flight status before arriving at Jordan's main airport, Queen Alia International Airport.
The situation is also affecting international flights and air routes between Europe, Asia, and Africa, with airlines forced to take long detours to avoid sensitive airspace over Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Dammam, the United Arab Emirates, and Iran.
Passengers planning flights to or through the region are asked to check flight status directly with the airline, monitor official airport announcements, and be prepared for schedule changes at short notice. At present, the regional situation remains extremely dynamic and depends on developments in security in the coming days.
