"Congratulations, Finnair, on the relaunch of the Toronto route!" said the airport in a Facebook announcement following the event that gathered airline representatives from Finnair and Finavia, along with the Embassy of Canada to Finland.
Helsinki. Photo: ShutterstockThe service will be available three times a week during the summer of 2026, between May 4 and August 29. The selected flight days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays.
"The renewed connection strengthens Helsinki Airport’s position as a major hub linking Europe and North America. In addition to Toronto, Finnair’s North American network for summer 2026 also includes New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Seattle," said the announcement.
