airBaltic has experienced a severe system issue that prevented passengers from accessing its website on May 7 through May 8 and book flights or do online check-ins.
"Due to technical issues on the side of our international system provider, it is still not possible to book flights on the airBaltic website. The partner technical team continues to work on implementing a full solution."

Online check-in for flights is available, but boarding passes may contain incomplete information.
"We confirm that this does not affect the validity of the boarding pass. Passengers who are unable to complete online check-in for their flight can check in at the airport without additional charges. We apologize for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience!"
As of this morning, May 8, at 7 AM (GMT), the airline has offered the following update: "Our online booking system is gradually returning to full functionality. Please note that some users may still experience occasional errors while our service provider's technical team completes the full restoration."
