Onboard Hospitality Awards Winners Revealed: SWISS Takes Top Honor with Four Gold, and Who Has the Best Snacks, Starlink, and Amenity Kits?

SWISS, Qatar Airways, LATAM, and Korean Air were among the standout winners at the 2026 Onboard Hospitality Awards in Hamburg. The winners of the 2026 Onboard Hospitality Awards were officially revealed during a ceremony held at the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo in Hamburg, Germany, recognizing airlines and suppliers for excellence in inflight food, comfort, technology, sustainability, and passenger experience.

This year’s event featured 30 award categories covering everything from premium dining and amenity kits to connectivity, wellness products, and full cabin concepts.

SWISS Takes Top Overall Honor

Swiss International Air Lines emerged as the biggest winner of the evening, taking Gold in the main Onboard Hospitality Awards category. Air France secured Silver, while LATAM earned Bronze.

SWISS also won Best Onboard Beverage – Alcoholic for its “SWISS Alpine Essence” signature cocktail, helping cement the airline’s growing reputation for premium onboard innovation.

“This year’s awards were a true testament to the innovation and excellence in our industry,” said April Waterston, Managing Editor of Onboard Hospitality.

“The judges had their work cut out for them this year with the incredibly high calibre of entries, and choosing the winners was not an easy task.”

Winners in the Food Categories

Turkish Airlines was one of the strongest performers across the catering categories, winning Best Business Class Food Service – Lunch & Dinner for its Traditional Kebab Plate with smoky “Beğendi” and buttered bulgur rice and Best Onboard Breakfast Food Service for its traditional “Kahvaltı” feast.

The airline also received multiple highly commended recognitions for business class meals and its signature mocktail collection.

Saudia Airlines also stood out in premium catering, winning Best First Class Food Service – Lunch & Dinner for its First Class Signature Menu.

Meanwhile, Iberia and catering partner DO&CO won Best Full-Service Economy Food Service for their “Octopus Royale” dish.

Korean Air and LATAM Recognized for Premium Comfort

Korean Air dominated several onboard comfort and textile categories. The airline won Best First Class Amenity Kit, Best Wearable Textiles, and Best Onboard Textiles.

LATAM also performed strongly, particularly in amenity and service categories. The South American carrier won awards for its Costa Brazil premium amenity kits and premium business serviceware.

In addition, LATAM earned recognition for its female chef collaboration concept, “Sabores que Transportan & Sabor a Brasileira.”

Qatar Airways Wins Connectivity Award

Qatar Airways received the award for Best Onboard Connectivity thanks to its Starlink-enabled fleet initiative, reflecting the growing importance of high-speed internet access onboard modern aircraft.

FlightPath3D also secured two technology-focused awards, namely, Best Onboard Entertainment and Best Onboard Apps.
