"A mix of modern architecture, traditional markets and a unique atmosphere of a city that never sleeps awaits you. Futuristic skyscrapers are just a few steps away from historical fortresses," says the airport's statement.

Flights will be available on a tri-weekly basis on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, from the start of July to the end of September, "depending on the current situation in the region."

The low-cost Saudi carrier, whose flights to Amman, Damascus and Peshawar continue to be canceled "due to airspace closure in some destinations" was founded in 2016 as a subsidiary of Saudia Group as a means of serving budget-conscious travelers. The company operates a modern fleet of Airbus A320/A320neo aircraft featuring an all-economy configuration.
