Etihad Airways is significantly expanding its presence in France this summer by doubling its Airbus A380 services between Abu Dhabi and Paris Charles de Gaulle. The move makes the route one of the most heavily served in the airline’s global network.
Three Daily Flights in Total
From July 1, 2026, the carrier will operate two daily A380 flights on the route, alongside a third daily service operated by a Boeing 787-9. In total, the schedule will rise to three daily flights, boosting capacity between the UAE capital and the French capital during the peak summer travel season.
The move will make Paris one of a select group of global cities served twice daily by the Airbus A380, Etihad’s flagship aircraft known for its premium onboard experience and high passenger capacity.
Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer at Etihad Airways, said the expansion reflects strong demand for the route and growing confidence in the market.

Whether our guests are heading to Paris for business, for leisure, or as the start of a journey onward across Europe, we are offering them our iconic A380 experience at the double.”
The expanded schedule will offer more flexibility for travelers, with morning and afternoon departures from Abu Dhabi to cater to both business and leisure passengers. The additional Boeing 787-9 service will complement the A380 flights and further increase premium seating capacity.
Passengers on the route will have access to Etihad’s full range of cabins, including The Residence, the airline’s exclusive three-room suite, First Apartments, Business Class, and Economy.
The increased frequency also strengthens connectivity beyond Abu Dhabi, offering smoother onward travel to destinations across the Middle East, Indian subcontinent, and Asia.
