Passengers can opt for the entire route, or just for the Prague-Almaty segment, explained the airport's announcement.

The new service is expected to support Vietjet's international expansion while strengthening economic, trade, tourism, and people-to-people connections between Europe and Asia.

On May 8, 2026, Vietjet announced the launch of a fresh global route bringing together Ho Chi Minh City and Colombo, marking the airline's first direct service between Vietnam and Sri Lanka.
