Photo: NCLThe opening will take place during a seven-night Caribbean sailing aboard the Norwegian Luna, with guests already able to pre-book day passes and private cabanas ahead of arrival. The company says the new attraction is designed to enhance its growing private island offering with more family-friendly and adventure-focused experiences.

Photo: NCLSpanning nearly 2.5 hectares, the new waterpark will feature 19 slides, a 52-metre Tidal Tower, cliff jumps, lazy river experiences, and dedicated children’s zones. It will also include new dining options through three food trucks positioned across the island.

Photo: NCLThe waterpark is part of a wider redevelopment of Great Stirrup Cay, which already includes lagoon-style pools, swim-up bars, and upgraded leisure areas for both families and adults. The island will also offer private cabanas near key attractions, including the signature Tidal Tower slides.

The Norwegian Luna will operate itineraries visiting destinations such as Puerto Plata, St. Thomas, and Tortola while featuring the new island experience as a central highlight.
