STARLUX Airlines has revealed an ambitious expansion plan for 2027, adding four major international destinations as it continues to grow its global footprint from Taiwan.
The airline confirmed it will launch services to Barcelona in Spain and Zurich in Switzerland, both of which will become Taiwan’s only direct flight connections to these cities. The move marks a significant step into the European market for the carrier, which has been steadily building its long-haul network.
In addition to its European expansion, STARLUX is also targeting the Oceania region. New routes to Sydney and Auckland are included in the plan, strengthening its presence in the southern hemisphere.
According to the announcement, the Auckland service will operate via Sydney, creating a linked route between the two major Australasian cities.
STARLUX has quickly gained attention in the aviation sector for its premium positioning and rapid growth since its launch. The addition of these routes is expected to further raise its international profile and strengthen its role in intercontinental travel.
