Network Rail Western has announced this morning, June 1, 2026, that trains to and from London Paddington "may be canceled or delayed" due to issues with the signaling system.

The company has said that services at Heathrow Express, which offers nonstop connections between Heathrow Airport and Central London by completely bypassing city traffic, and Elizabeth Line, connecting London from Reading and Heathrow Airport in the west to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east, are also affected.

Passengers traveling with Great Western Railway or via the Heathrow Express/Elizabeth Line have been asked to check the schedule prior to traveling.

"Our teams are on site working to fix the faults. We're very sorry for any disruption to your journey," added the company.
