Passengers traveling through Prague Airport's Terminal 1 can expect big changes in the coming years following the announcement of a new long-term lounge partnership.

The airport has signed a five-year agreement with Czech banking group Česká spořitelna, paving the way for the creation of the new Erste Premier Lounge in Terminal 1.

Under the partnership, the lounge will undergo a rebrand and introduce a range of service improvements to enhance the passenger experience. Airport officials said future developments are expected to include the introduction of a digital avatar alongside other technological and customer service upgrades.

While detailed plans have yet to be released, the project forms part of Prague Airport's broader efforts to modernize its passenger facilities and improve services for premium travelers.

Terminal 1 serves a large number of international destinations outside the Schengen Area, making its lounge facilities an important part of the airport experience for business travelers, frequent flyers and eligible premium passengers.

The new agreement gives Česká spořitelna a prominent presence at one of Central Europe's busiest airports while providing a platform for introducing new customer-focused innovations over the next five years.

Further information on the lounge's redesign, services and opening timeline is expected to be announced as the project progresses.
