Aegean Airlines has identified quite a few such cases, and today (June 4, 2026) launched a special promotion, "Hold my Booking", at a lower price than usual.
For just €1, you can now lock in the flight price you've found, simply by adding the "Hold my Booking" service to your booking. You'll have 30 days to decide, and you can pay later.
The airline says the offer provides all the time you need to plan your trip with peace of mind and extra time to decide. The offer is for a limited time only, until June 8, 2026, for flights between July 22, 2026, and October 21, 2026.
A. Search and choose the ideal flight and price for you.
B. Select "Hold my Booking" at the checkout stage and fill in the payment details.
C. After payment, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to complete the order and proceed to payment within the grace period.
D. You can return to a paused reservation via the link in the email or in the "My Booking" area on the website or in the app.
The offer is valid for direct and connecting flights on the entire Aegean and Olympic Air route network, one-way or round trip. The option to save the price is only available through the company's digital channels. The €1 hold fee applies per passenger and is non-refundable.
The 30-day hold period will start from the moment the hold fee is paid in the local time of the city of departure. Passengers cannot hold a booking if special offers or bonus flights apply. No changes can be made to passenger details or travel dates once the booking has been held. If the booking is not confirmed and the passenger does not pay within the hold period, the booking will be canceled, and the hold fee will not be refunded.
