London Luton Airport has unveiled its picks for the best music festivals across Europe, showcasing destinations that can be reached with direct flights from the airport

As festival season gathers pace, London Luton Airport has released a guide to some of Europe's most popular music festivals, encouraging travelers to swap ordinary city breaks for unforgettable live music experiences across the continent.

The airport's list features 20 festivals spanning a wide range of genres, from rock and pop to electronic music, jazz and hip hop, with many destinations accessible through direct flights from London Luton.

Among the standout recommendations is the legendary Sziget Festival in Budapest, one of Europe's largest music events, attracting around 90,000 visitors per day and hosting more than 1,000 performances each year. Travelers can reach the Hungarian capital in around two and a half hours from Luton.

For electronic music fans, Barcelona's Primavera Sound and Sónar festivals both make the list. Primavera Sound has built a reputation for bringing together some of the biggest names in global music, while Sónar combines electronic music with innovation, technology and immersive audiovisual experiences. Both festivals are easily accessible via direct flights from London Luton.

Those seeking a beachside atmosphere may be drawn to Croatia's Love International festival in Tisno, which blends boat parties, electronic music and Adriatic coast scenery. Meanwhile, Belgium's world-famous Tomorrowland remains one of the most sought-after events for dance music enthusiasts.

The airport's recommendations also include cultural favorites such as Rock En Seine in Paris, Roskilde Festival in Denmark, Open'er in Poland, Mad Cool in Madrid, and the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.
