Polish Airline Ends Historic Year with Billions in Revenue and Huge Airbus Order

The Polish carrier reported strong earnings and major growth, alongside new route launches and fleet expansion plans. The company also signed a major Airbus A220 deal

LOT Polish Airlines has reported a strong financial and operational performance for 2025, marking a milestone year for the carrier.

The airline generated PLN 10.2 billion ($2.71 billion) in revenue, with an EBIT of PLN 422 million ($112 million) and a net profit of PLN 350 million ($93 million), reflecting solid profitability across its network.

During the year, LOT carried 11.7 million passengers, while expanding its route network with nine new destinations and announcing plans for 15 additional routes.

A key highlight of 2025 was LOT’s fleet expansion strategy, including a landmark agreement for 84 Airbus A220 aircraft. The deal comprises 40 firm orders and 44 options, supporting the airline’s long-term growth and modernization plans.

LOT said the results reflect strong passenger demand, operational efficiency, and continued investment in its future development. 

The airline recently launched innovative voice customer service using artificial intelligence-based agents.
