LOT Polish Airlines is expanding its Scandinavian network with the launch of a new seasonal service connecting its hub at Warsaw Chopin Airport and the Arctic city of Tromsø.

Flights will operate twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays using the airline's Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. Flight time is expected to be just over three hours.
Targeting Winter Tourism Demand
Often referred to as the "Gateway to the Arctic," Tromsø has become a major draw for international visitors seeking to experience the Aurora Borealis, Arctic wildlife, fjords, and winter outdoor activities.

He added that the Norwegian city attracts visitors with its "stunning scenery, beautiful natural surroundings and unique atmosphere" and described it as "one of the best places in the world to see the Northern Lights."
Ludera said the airline expects strong interest from both leisure travelers and passengers visiting friends and family in Norway.
Strengthening LOT's Nordic Network
The addition of Tromsø further expands LOT's presence in Northern Europe and gives passengers from Poland and across the airline's network easier access to Arctic Norway during the winter travel season.
Known for its dramatic landscapes and long polar nights, Tromsø has emerged as one of Europe's fastest-growing winter tourism destinations, particularly among travelers hoping to witness the Northern Lights while experiencing Scandinavian culture and outdoor adventures.
The seasonal route is scheduled to operate throughout the peak winter period when demand for Arctic travel is at its highest.
