The Greek real estate company DIMAND revealed yesterday (July 3, 2026) a fresh and exciting collaboration with the hotel giant Hilton. The two partners will open Hilton Thessaloniki in 2029, making Hilton's first hotel in the second-largest city in Greece.
The complex on which the new hotel will be built is the historic site of the former FIX brewery.
According to DIMAND, the hotel will include 184 rooms in two buildings: a new, bioclimatic building with 153 rooms and suites and one of the historic complex's conservation buildings, which will be restored and contain 31 rooms and suites that will highlight the unique industrial complex and the heritage of the historic estate.
Hilton Thessaloniki is part of a broader redevelopment of the historic former FIX Brewery complex, through which DIMAND is creating a new mixed-use destination that will combine hospitality, housing, commercial uses, culture and public spaces, and help create a new and vibrant urban neighborhood at the western entrance to Thessaloniki.
Recall that this year Hilton opened three more new hotels in Greece,- in Athens, Corfu and Chania. The Conrad Ilisian Hotel, which opened at the beginning of the year in Athens, is the chain's Greek flagship and features 307 rooms, suites and residential apartments, including a unique penthouse with a private pool.
Among the innovations at the hotel in the Greek capital, the iconic "Galaxy" bar has returned as "Galaxy Dispensary", a lively gastro bar alongside a prestigious club.
