Ka Laʻi Waikīkī Beach has officially reopened following a $100 million transformation, marking the debut of Hilton's first LXR Hotels & Resorts property in Hawaiʻi.

Natural materials such as wood, lava stone, marble, and woven textures feature prominently throughout the property, alongside curated artwork by artists including Marco Rountree, Christine Skaggs, and Big Island ceramic artist Suzanne Wang.

The Kini Room serves Pacific Rim-inspired cuisine, while Muse Lounge offers cocktails inspired by classic Hawaiian recipes. Bloom Cafe & Restaurant focuses on locally sourced breakfast specialties overlooking Waikīkī.

Photo: © 2026 Hilton Additional upgrades include a refreshed Spa Ka Laʻi, where treatments incorporate traditional Hawaiian wellness practices and locally inspired ingredients. Outdoor spaces were also revitalized with sustainability in mind, preserving elements of the original design while incorporating alternative materials.
