American Airlines marked the end of the 2026 FIFA World Cup with an exclusive celebration high above Manhattan, hosting fans 100 stories in the air at Edge NYC following Spain's victory in the tournament final.
As the Official North American Airline Supplier of FIFA World Cup 26, alongside Qatar Airways, the airline transformed the observation deck at Hudson Yards into one of the most unique World Cup watch parties in the United States.

Photo: American Airlines While billions of people watched the final around the world, a select group of guests, including AAdvantage members and winners of the airline's "Spot the Bag" campaign, experienced the tournament's conclusion from the highest indoor and outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere.

Earlier in the day, American Airlines announced a surprise opportunity for its most loyal customers. Following news of Zedd's appearance, fans gathered at Hudson Yards, where the first 100 AAdvantage members received access to the exclusive event.

The event capped off American Airlines' World Cup campaign, which included opportunities for travelers to redeem AAdvantage miles for match tickets, access tournament coverage through FOX One, and participate in fan activations across North America.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup, the first to feature 48 teams and hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, concluded with Spain lifting the trophy after a month-long celebration of football.
