Shanghai, China. Photo: Shutterstock Dublin Airport has welcomed a new airline partner, with China Eastern Airlines operating its inaugural flight from Shanghai to the Irish capital on Monday, July 20, 2026.
The first Shanghai–Dublin service arrived at 7:32 a.m. local time, completing the journey in 11 hours and 35 minutes.

The service, which marks a major milestone for both parties, will also become the longest nonstop flight currently operating from Dublin Airport.
