From Paris to the Mediterranean: Air France Expands to Cyprus in New Codeshare Agreement

Air France and Cyprus Airways have signed a new codeshare agreement that will strengthen air connectivity between France and Cyprus, offering travelers up to six weekly flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Larnaca during the peak summer season.

Under the agreement, which took effect on July 7, 2026, Air France has placed its code on Cyprus Airways-operated flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport and Larnaca International Airport. The partnership is designed to provide year-round service between the two cities while giving passengers access to Air France's extensive global network via its Paris hub.

Passengers flying on the route will travel aboard Cyprus Airways' Airbus A220 aircraft, featuring a dedicated Business Class cabin and the airline's latest onboard product.

Air France said the agreement will expand travel options between the two countries while improving connectivity to long-haul destinations through Paris. Cyprus Airways, meanwhile, described the partnership as a major milestone that will enhance the island nation's links to one of Europe's busiest aviation hubs.

New Interline Agreements 

In addition to the codeshare arrangement, the two airlines will introduce interline agreements on selected routes. Air France customers will be able to connect via Milan Malpensa and Athens on Cyprus Airways-operated flights to Larnaca, while Cyprus Airways passengers will gain access to Air France-operated services between Paris and both Milan and Athens.

The airlines said the complementary schedules will provide travelers with additional flexibility and seamless connections between Paris and Cyprus.

Flights will be available via Air France's usual distribution channels, "subject to regulatory approvals and system availability."
