Sheraton Hotels & Resorts has officially entered the Papua New Guinea market with the opening of Sheraton Port Moresby Stanley Hotel & Suites, marking the brand's debut in the country and Marriott International's second property in Papua New Guinea.

Photo: Marriot International Located in Port Moresby's central business and government district, the 394-room hotel is just five minutes from Jacksons International Airport and is directly connected to Vision City Mega Mall, offering convenient access for both business and leisure travelers.
The newly rebranded property features 284 guestrooms, 15 suites, and 95 serviced apartments, catering to short and extended stays. Following a major renovation, the hotel incorporates Sheraton's latest design concept, with open social spaces, technology-enabled work areas, and the brand's signature Community Table designed to encourage collaboration and connection.

Guests can choose from several dining venues, including the signature Silverleaf restaurant, all-day dining at Greenhaus, the &More by Sheraton café and lounge, Monsoon Bar & Lounge, and a poolside café.
Amenities include an infinity swimming pool, a full-service spa, and one of the city's largest fitness centers, while the hotel's location opposite the Papua New Guinea Football Stadium further enhances its appeal.
The opening expands Sheraton's footprint across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific, where the brand now operates nine properties, and underscores Marriott International's continued investment in the region.
