Travelers staying at Hampton by Hilton hotels across the United States and Canada will soon have a new reason to look forward to breakfast. The hotel brand has announced the launch of its first-ever guest-created waffle flavor, the Peach Cobbler Waffle, which will be available for a limited time at nearly 2,500 participating properties throughout August.
The new breakfast offering arrives just ahead of National Waffle Day on August 24 and marks the first recipe selected through Hampton by Hilton's inaugural Guest Waffle Boss competition.
Inspired by the classic Southern dessert, the Peach Cobbler Waffle combines Hampton's signature Belgian waffle with ripe peaches, oat crumble, caramel sauce, and whipped cream, giving guests a sweet seasonal breakfast option.
According to Hampton by Hilton, breakfast remains one of the most valued parts of a hotel stay. A recent survey commissioned by the brand found that 42% of travelers say a great hotel breakfast helps start their day on a positive note, while 66% are more likely to enjoy a sit-down breakfast when traveling than they are at home. Nearly four in ten respondents also said a complimentary hot breakfast makes them just as happy as spending time at a spa.
Shruti Gandhi Buckley, Senior Vice President and Brand Leader for Hampton by Hilton, said breakfast has always represented the brand's signature hospitality.
"At Hampton, breakfast has always been about more than what's on the plate. Every morning, guests gather around our signature waffle station to start the day together, so inviting them to help create our next waffle flavor felt like a natural way to celebrate one of Hampton's most beloved traditions," Buckley said.
