Pool, Spa and OXBO Dining: Hilton Marks 100th Property in Mediterranean Destination with Huge Airport Hotel

Hilton has officially opened Hilton Istanbul Airport, a 485-room property designed to bring full-service hospitality directly to one of Europe's busiest aviation hubs.

The opening marks a major milestone for Hilton in Turkey, as the new hotel becomes the company's 100th property in the country and its first internationally branded hotel located directly next to Istanbul Airport.

Positioned just steps from the terminal, the hotel targets business travelers, leisure guests and passengers looking for a convenient stopover without sacrificing comfort.

A Hotel Designed Around Istanbul

Hilton Istanbul Airport combines contemporary design with elements inspired by the Turkish capital. Natural stone, warm metallic finishes and rich fabrics reflect Istanbul's historic neighborhoods, modern skyline and the colors of the Marmara Sea.

Many rooms and suites offer runway views, while the property includes a fitness center, spa, indoor pool, sauna and Turkish bath. The fitness center is open 24 hours a day, while the wellness area includes three treatment rooms.

The hotel also features eight meeting rooms and a ballroom accommodating up to 250 guests, alongside an executive lounge overlooking the airport's runway and gates.

OXBO Makes Its Turkish Debut

Hilton's global dining concept OXBO is also making its debut in Turkey at the new hotel.

The brand operates across three venues, including a restaurant, café and 24-hour bar. Menus emphasize locally sourced ingredients and Turkish flavors, with the spaces designed for both casual dining and social gatherings.

Easy Access to Istanbul

The hotel's location is designed to make airport transfers particularly simple, with the terminal within walking distance.

A metro station directly opposite the property also provides access to central Istanbul and major attractions including Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, allowing transit passengers to turn a short airport stay into an opportunity to explore the city.

The hotel is part of an aggressive expansion by Hilton in Turkey, with 14 openings planned for 2026, including Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus and new properties under several Hilton brands.
